Witch Magus Lynius Shadee claims he has conjured up a demon to prey on the congregation at the Church of Our Lady and the English Martyrs in Hills Road, Cambridge. Magus, who claims to be the king of all witches, claims to have summoned the evil spirit to reside in the church and ‘cleanse it’. He said: ‘It’s an elemental, a hunter that will attach itself to an individual, either send them insane or make them depressed. The worst is to cause them to take their physical life.’ Fr Dick Healey called Shadee twisted and added: ‘He should be reported to the police. It’s as if someone came into your home and performed some sort of magic trick without your permission. He’s obviously a bit twisted to perform witchcraft in a church. We will not be performing an exorcism, but I will consider reporting him to the police.’ (Source: Cambridge News: October 2009).
On the 1st of October a light was spotted in the sky over Bethnal Green in east London. The witness reports: ‘It was around 11.59 when I spotted a little light which I thought was a light from a helicopter, then it got bigger and bigger, then it was like a big blur the size of an air ship which was glowing, then it was moving in one direction then it moved suddenly towards south London, then I got a picture which I have got on my phone.’
Phyliss Bacon has just released a photograph that she took in 2007, and she is convinced it shows the image of a fairy fl uttering in her garden tree. She said: ‘I think it must be a fairy, no one I’ve shown the photos to have come up with any plausible explanation as to what the figure is. Looking back, I think there was a fungi fairy ring in the garden at the time I took the picture, but I don’t really know what to make of it all. To be honest, I don’t know what it is and I’m keen to listen to anyone’s suggestions. But until someone can tell me otherwise I’m going to go on thinking it’s a fairy.’ Mrs Bacon never saw the fairy when she snapped the picture but later saw it when the fi lm was developed. Less romantic souls say that the image shows nothing more than the reflection of security lights from the houses opposite. The picture can be seen at www.dailymail.co.uk
What is described as a ‘stunning shot’ by The Sun newspaper was taken of a over St Paul’s Cathedral in London during September. Tim Letten had been taking photographs for a competition. He said: ‘I was taking pictures along the river and captured a picture of an object flying across the sky which I thought was an aeroplane. When I got home I put it on my computer, zoomed in and I thought it must be a UFO!’ (Source: The Sun: 17th September 2009).
In the small village of Kilmaurs on the outskirts of Kilmarnock, Scotland, a middleaged couple are experiencing odd sensations that are seemingly on the increase. At first they put it down to imagination, but now they are not so sure. In addition to doors opening and shutting by themselves and unexplained bangs in the night, phenomena include objects being moved from room to room, the strong smell of cigarette smoke and gusts of wind passing by them while they’re sitting in the lounge. The most disturbing is hearing the crunch, crunch on the gravel as though someone is walking by the side of the house, hearing the back door open and close and footsteps on the stairs; no one is ever found and all doors are securely locked. Video footage has been shot of a creature said to live in Florida’s Lake Worth Lagoon, now nicknamed the ‘elusive muck monster’ by the most recent witnesses. (Source: WPTV.com, Aug 31)
A town council in Haifia, Israel, is receiving reports of mermaid sightings, and have offered a reward for its capture. Apparently, many people have seen the half fish, half young girl, cavorting in the waters, but only at sunset. Crowds now line the shore with cameras but as yet no photographs of the nymph have been taken. (Source: Sky News).
Two “huge, rotating, glowing, mist shrouded, mother-ship type UFOs” have been seen by millions of residents in the Chinese cities and regions of Shahe, Xingtai, Ren County, South County, as well as Yongnian County,” reports Michael Cohen of Allnewsweb. At 8pm on the 20th of August the UFOs hovered in circles for more than two hours, terrifying locals. Police and various ‘officials’ rushed to the area, but no one seems to know what they were apart from explanations as “a laser light show” or “a bizarre weather pattern.” Witnesses who saw the objects deny they looked anything like the official explanations given. Needless to say many photographs were taken. Authorities recently released three minutes of video footage that they had kept secret for more than 20 years. It was taken by a pilot over the city of Shanghai and features a shining object high in the sky. Chinese UFO researchers have long believed there is an alien base on the Chinese/ Indian border near Kongka La ridge pass in the Himalayas. Many believe that apart from it being a disputed border area, sinister forces are at play here, and not only the Yeti! (Source: Sina.com China Daily August 2009).
On August 11th 2009 a man living west of San Antonio in Texas heard a “loud awful scream” and saw a large flock of birds flushed out of trees as “a giant creature swooped out of the sky and just as quickly flew back up into the rocks.” The witness continues: “It looked nothing like a bird. I was about 50 yards from it and would say conservatively that its wing span was 15 ft. or so! It was dark coloured and had a very long beak and a strange long thin tail. This sounds crazy, but it actually resembled one of those flying dinosaurs though the head was not as large and it looked like it had feathers.” Meanwhile, in Arkansas a group who went camping near an abandoned Amish community say they saw a large flying creature fly ‘like a large worm or snake’ that wrapped itself around a tree. Mr Mario Castenda caught on camera three elongated objects, with three colours (not known) that he did not see when taking the photograph in the Emiliano Zapata region of Mexico. Mr Castenda had taken the photos as part of his job at Morelos on August 14 and only spotted the objects later. Meanwhile a villager in El Nihuil, Argentina, snapped a strange object in the sky with his mobile phone; the phone emitted an unfamiliar buzz while he did so. Photographs and video footage have been taken in Yakima WA, USA, California, Alaska, Kansas, Texas, Russia, Poland, and China. (Source: Phantoms & Monsters – diariosanrafael.com.ar / August 2009)
