Is this the ghost of a little boy?

This is a photo taken by designer Neil Sandbach at a farm in Hertfordshire for inclusion in some Wedding Stationery he was preparing for a couple due to host their wedding at the venue. When Neil opened up the photo on his computer he was surprised, and not a little spooked, when he noticed a blurry white figure that he was certain wasn’t visible when the photo was taken, as there was nobody else around.

Neil explains, “a week or so later, just before the actual wedding, and without mentioning the photograph, the couple getting married asked the staff at the venue if anyone had ever seen something ’spooky’. Their faces went white as they described what they had seen on various occasions: the ghost of a young boy dressed in white night clothes, appearing close to the main barn”.

Being that this is a farm, the first explanation that comes to mind is a scarecrow.

Too bad the photographer couldn’t have blown this up more. But he lost a lot of Resolution with what he had already done, so I don’t know how much more a closer zoom would have shown. Very interesting, though.

This is an Excellent photograph(Shame that there is not abit more of him showing)one that will make into ONE OF THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHS OF GHOSTS EVER no doubt.

I used my zoom in feature and to me this looks like the same figure in both photos. I can see what appears to be a face in the first one. I would say yes to this..something is there!

Where is the farm, exactly? I live in Hertfordshire, Stevenage to be exact. I have a thrieving interest for the Paranormal and would love to investigate this location, with the owners permission of course.

It’s indeed a child and appears to be smiling; it’s “peeking” from behind as if playing a game. Great capture! It would be most interesting to know some history of the farm as well.

Typical case of people seeing what they want to see. It looks more like a light reflection on the boarded wall from a window or glass door opposite. The slats of the wall can been seen as slightly highlighted due to the effect. The only way to check is to go to the sight and see what is on the opposite wall and on a sunny day. Occums razor people. The simplest answer is probably the correct one.

It is an amazing photograph. I have noticed an increase in paranormal activity being documented in video, audio and photo. I think the digital age has made the ability to capture the phenomenon more easily accessible. I have caught a couple of paranormal images on standard 35mm iso film. However, the digital age seems to be able to capture things in high definition. An example of this can be found at http://www.liparanormalinvestigators.com/shadows.shtml
